​This class will explore concert jazz dance from a LatinX perspective at the intermediate/advanced level, from its traditional roots to the fusion styles of today.  Students will have the opportunity to explore their own jazz background while infusing it with a Latin jazz sensibility. Through the experience of movement, music and history, students will gain a better appreciation of the LatinX influence in jazz dance’s past and present vitality.
